This once-in-a-lifetime concert will take place in Indio, California on October 7, 8 and 9 when six of the world’s most iconic and influential rock and roll artists come together.
We’ve got Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, and Rogers Waters sharing a stage for three days. Alone, maybe together?
Tickets range from $199 for a single day to $1,600 for three-day pit passes or reserved floor or grandstand seats.
Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters is slamming Neil Young and Scarlett Johansson – accusing them of neglecting human rights.
Waters writes his criticism in personal letters and a public statement on Facebook.
He cites what he believes are several alleged human rights abuses by Israel, including political discrimination against Beduin communities in the South and citizens who are not Jewish, according to The Jerusalem Post.
Neil is scheduled to play at Hayarkon Park on July 17 in Israel.
The Pink Floyd musician says Johansson recently signed on as Israeli company Soda Stream’s spokeswoman amid controversy over the company’s factory in Mishor Adumim, in the West Bank.
“Pearl Jam is a band I have a lot of respect for. Nirvana and Sonic Youth I feel the same way about. Mumford & Sons, My Morning Jacket, Wilco, Givers, and Foo Fighters are just some of my favorites. I respect bands that give me something of themselves that I can feel. (\"Posing\" bands turn me off generally speaking.) It all has to do with a feeling I have about them. That is what music is to me, a feeling. It\'s similar with people too.” by ? Neil Young, Waging Heavy Peace: A Hippie Dream
